History (Pre High School Days)[]
Born in Colombia, Darien Chiba lost his parents during a car crash when he was six years old. After the car crash, Darien was diagnosed with amnesia and sent to a local orphanage due to no known family members of the young Darien were found. While at the orphanage, Darien started having recurring dreams involving a princess and a kingdom that got destroyed. Despite realizing they were dreams, Darien still felt they were real, and that he was responsible for what happened in them. After being inspired by words told to him by a sister in the orphanage about how his powers were a gift from God to be used wisely, Darien ran away from the orphanage when he was eight years old, with his goal being fighting evil.
Three years after running away from the orphanage, Darien Chiba rescued J.I.A. agent, Nick Fury, from a drug cartel. Impressed by the boy's abilities, Fury offered Darien a chance to join the J.I.A. to fight terrorists around the world. Upon hearing the offer, Darien immediately accepted, and got to leave Colombia with Nick Fury, beginning a new life with the Japanese Intelligence Agency...
High School Days[]
As Darien's friend, General Shining Armor, had information forcefully extracted from his mind by Queen Chrysalis, Darien came to Armor's rescue as Tuxedo Mask, and battled Chrysalis and her fellow Cystal Order ally Rubeus with Melinda May. Although Darien and May were successful in saving Shining Armor, they didn't find out what information was stolen from the general.
Powers and Abilities[]
Darien has the ability to summon sharp roses that he sends flying towards his enemies. He is also skilled with a cane that can extend in length and be used effectively in hand-to-hand combat.

Darien was described as being "handsome" and "attractive" by Queen Chrysalis (while in disguise as Cadence). He has black hair, deep blue eyes, and is 5 foot 9 inches tall.

- The Latin American dub name 'Darien Chiba' was chosen as opposed to the English or Japanese dub name due to the fact Darien is from Colombia in High School Days.
